Chairman Foreword
As a professional accountant, I was excited about the establishment of Association of Chinese Accountant Australia (ACAA). As a founder of ACAA, I am committed to serving it and all the Chinese accountants in Australia.
The total number of accountant members from the top three Australian professional accounting bodies (CPA Australia, CAANZ and IPA), has increased rapidly in the past ten years, reaching 300,000. Such rapid growth of membership can be largely attributed to the increase of the group of Chinese accountants in Australia. More and more accounting talents with Chinese background have moved to Australia by means of study, immigration, work transfer and other different ways. We all understand the importance of the role played by platform and partnership. It is the good channels and role models that encouraged us to go along the career and professional development.
We, Chinese accountants, share the same culture background and live under the same blue sky in Australia. Why don’t we connect together and walk hand in hand? Therefore, we turn our thoughts into actions and founded ACAA for Australian Chinese Accountants community. Her focus is to serve Australian Chinese accountants through connecting and promoting Australian Chinese accountants, providing knowledge and experience share other activities.
We will make a great effort to achieve our objectives and build an integrated platform for all Australian Chinese accountants to progress together. We sincerely encourage each Chinese accountant who is currently living in Australia to join us----ACAA is made for you and will support your professional development as well as career success.
