Ruyi is currently a Senior Manager in PwC, digital accelerator leader. Qualified CA, fellow CPA and CPA NSW divisional Councillor. She has over 12 years experience in external audit, accounting advisory as well as in-house experience on financial reporting, process improvement for large multinational companies and ASX listed clients mainly in TMT industry. Jia Penny He Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director Ms He is a Certified Practising Accountant with about 15 years combined industry experience in accounting, financial planning and mortgage broking. Ms He joined N1 Group in May 2014 and played a pivotal role in reshaping the organisation to an ASX listed company. As CFO and executive director of the company, Ms He takes charge of the group's financial, tax, reporting and board functions. In addition, Ms He is the Responsible Manager of N1's Australian Financial Services Licence and oversees its compliance and operation. In the not-for-profit space, Ms He is a founding member of Association of Chinese Accountants Australia (ACAA, www.acaaustralia.org) Ms He holds a Master of Accounting degree from Macquarie University and is also an ATO registered tax agent holding Public Practice Certificate. Yifan BAI is the Deputy GM of Finance of CCCC International Holding Limited and a serving member of the audit committee of John Holland Group Pty Ltd. He has presided over the acquisitions of John Holland Group Pty Ltd (Australia) and AECON Group Inc (Canada) including financial due diligence, financial system integration and post-investment management. Yifan BAI has worked at PwC China and Australia for more than 10 years and specialise in construction, engineering, logistics, telecommunications, retail and other industries. He has extensive experience dealing with both Chinese and Australian businesses’ auditing, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, financing and M&A requirements. From 2006 to 2011, as a key team member, Yifan BAI participated in audit and due diligence of the initial public offering of China Communications Construction Company Limited (CCCC) on the Hong Kong and Shanghai stock exchanges and other bond issuance. He was also in charge of auditing CCCC overseas operations. Yifan BAI holds a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Sydney. He is also a qualified member of CPA Australia.
Peter is a Senior Manager in the Tax Services division in Sydney, providing specialist R&D tax incentive and innovation related tax consulting services such as advising on Early Stage Innovation Company set-up and application. Peter has 8 years’ experience across both the R&D Tax Incentive and Taxation services. Peter is a current CAANZ member and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Professional Accounting) and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Macquarie University, and a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney. Prior to joining RSM in 2016, Peter worked at a Big-4 Accounting Firm across both the Innovation and Incentives team, and the Private Clients Tax Advisory team. During this time, Peter has had exposure to both direct R&D Tax Incentive related issues, and more complex scenarios where the R&D Tax Incentive interacts with the income tax legislation. For example, preparation of Private Binding Rulings on grouping legislation. Peter is currently a member of the Technical Committee for the ACAA and an active participant in the mentoring program, where RSM is a silver sponsor. As a founding member of the Association, Peter has been regularly involved in organizing technical events for the ACAA and arranging networking discussions for ACAA members for employment opportunities. To date, RSM and ACAA have held 6 technical events across Sydney and Brisbane. Peter is also regularly involved with Chinese-inbound clients and is a current member of the RSM China Practice Group.
Andrew Sun is a chartered accountant in both Australia and Hong Kong. He has more than 17 year experience providing assurance and advisory services in Australia, Mainland China and Hong Kong to a wide range of clients in agribusiness, construction, renewable energy, electricity and resources, retail, manufacturing and services industries. Andrew has been advising a number of clients in energy and mining sector on the complicated accounting issues and providing the advices on the best accounting solutions, process improvement, internal control and accounting technical training. Andrew is part of the team that delivered the due diligence services on a number of acquisitions. He is fluent in Mandarin and English and leading our Chinese Service practice in Assurance and Advisory division nationally and he is the lead partner to serve the large Chinese corporates and State owned enterprises.
